So thankful for the amazing long weekend, really ♥

Got to spend Friday-Sunday with my Nenek (maternal side) whom I grew up with. She means the world to me. I love that my grandma always has all these stories that she'll share with me. It's lovely how I can talk to her endlessly. Each time I'm over at Telok Blangah, it truly feels like home. It's a fact which makes me both honestly happy and sad simultaneously... but let's leave it at that.


Monday was spent with my paternal side of the family. We all finally had a family gathering after quite some time! It was awesome of course with so much joy and laughter all around. Nadera and I even drove up all the way to Changi just cos all of us had a sudden craving for durian!!!! So worth the journey, obviously. Gotta LOVE durian, people, come on. Lol

The long-awaited Tuesday FINALLY arrived. Was so psyched to meet the girl friends - Neni, Jaye and Dhi - for an outing which we've planned almost 2 weeks ago!

Ah... it's indescribable, really, how new bonds are forged almost effortlessly. It's uncanny how the four of us are similar to each other in a way or two. And it's definitely amazing how we clique with one another almost instantaneously. So meet the top 3 bimbotic girl friends of mine, for sure. Hehe. So glad the start of 2012 seems to be going well - better than I expected, I must say. Even though school's starting to get a tiny bit insane already, - as in the workload + readings + quizzes + upcoming projects, ETC. - it's still tolerable. It's not going to be this smooth throughout, I know that but I've never been much more hopeful than now. At this present moment. Insyaallah, there'll be many many many many(x infinity) more beautiful memories in the upcoming weeks, months, and years.
