The first week of a new semester is already coming to an end. It's always a wonder to me how time flies. And that's all you ever truly possess - time. Always only yours.

A completely new semester, with new modules and so much more knowledge to gain. So many things to learn, to grasp - and like every other NTU student, I've got about 12-13 weeks to do so. Everything seems a bit daunting now (well, it always does at the start of each semester). What's different this time, I actually intend to keep a promise I've made to myself. A promise I've made back in Year 1 Sem 1. InsyaAllah, I will not give up on myself. Not again. I believe I have done that way too many times before.

A friend's words sometime ago, which stay close to my heart - it is always about how you turn a loss into a win. How you carry on from what had happened, and deal with it; now that, is always in your own hands. There's no denying that, indeed.

One other thing I've realised over time - it is extremely difficult to forgive. To forgive others, and to forgive myself most importantly. Which is why, as a dear friend reminded me not long ago, forgiving is one act that is almost humanly impossible. Not entirely impossible though.
All in time, all in time.

I'm still learning.
These baby steps I'm taking, with so much hope and faith, will lead me on. Forward. Always moving forward.
