I SURVIVED ANOTHER SEMESTER, HELL YEAH.
Year 2 Sem 1 is actually over! Oh how time flies... anyway, I've got more pictures to share!

Ah yes, so glad Eera's surprise birthday celebration @ Timbre went smoothly. Xox

And last Friday, I had some girly fun with Neni ^^ 
Yes, we totally cancelled the study session that afternoon just to "rest for an evening". No regrets!







It was one of those great Friday evenings spent talking endlessly into the night. We discussed so many issues, from how we might just be projections (??) - let's not even get started on that - to how there has got to be so much good things in life, on top of all the shitz we evidently witness in front of our eyes (both literally and metaphorically, if you get what I mean). Anyway, it was indeed one of the best girly fun I've had in a long time. Am so looking forward to parade around in town with a huge sign hanging around my neck that says "my exams are over, bitches" !! Or perhaps I could just dress up real nice again and walk around in my high heels. Just for myself, of course.

Ah, it feels so good to be up at 5.30am in the morning just seizing every moment of this so-called freedom... I've waited for months to have the liberty to sit in front of my laptop for hours watching tv shows/tumblr-ing/browsing around, etc. without an annoying voice in my head screaming for me to revise or something. This feels really nice. And I've got things planned out for myself. I foresee a different kind of semester break this upcoming month or so. For one, I am going to have to be out of the house by 8.15am 4 times a week for my new tuition assignment. Not sure if I'm excited or nervous to be teaching a mixed Primary 1 kid starting next Monday onward. I look forward to starting my days early, one of my attempts to "seize each and every day". Kind of, at least.

Oh, it is December already isn't it? Funny story, I found out that SO MANY people are born in December. Man, I don't feel that special to know I'm one of them anymore. (Oh my, what a sad attempt at being funny. But I try, God knows I try.) A really sweet girl friend of mine sent me a whatsapp message after reading my previous post - "Pretty girl. What else would you like for your birthday. May I have the privilege of viewing your whole wish list please? (: "
So I've decided to be all shameless and put my completed (for now, at least) wish list up here! Well, come on, this is my blog after all anyway. No one begged you to read anything here, that I'm sure of.
Okay anyway here goes...

Nurelfarina Roszaini's 20th Birthday Wish List: 

  • A Map of the World (the larger, the better. I'd like to write stuff/paste post-its on it, etc.)
  • '365' planner/diary from Kikki K. (I saw this only after I bought my moleskin in Dec last year!)
  • The gratitude book from Kikki K. (It'd be nice to pen down the things I'm grateful for daily :)
  • Haruki Murakami's titles (I've only read and I only have 'Dance Dance Dance' on my shelf now, and I'd love to read more of his books.)
  • Chuck Palahniuk's 'Invisible Monster (just realised I still haven't bought/read this book?!)
  • A new wallet (any brand as long as it's pretty!)
  • iPhone 4S or a pink Samsung Galaxy SII (I still can't decide.)
  • Shopping vouchers (cause I'd sure appreciate that anytime!)
  • Gorgeous high heels (I'm a size 8/39)
  • Chocolates/Cheesecakes/Coffee (if all else fails, really)
Hehe I sure can be shameless. No pressure on anyone at all though. I've learned well enough that expectations will only lead to disappointments most of the time. But I can always dream. I think I'm being a little annoying now. Oh god, I should stop typing.
