Hiiii look at my poor finger!!! :/
all thanks to this monster of an oven!
Lol my granny's oven is bloody ancient, yes... but I think it's freaking cool! Come on, it still works perfectly well even though it's over 30 years old!! omgZ right?! (but it's dangerous, undeniably... it's hardly insulated lol)
Anyway, I spent Thurs-Sat over at Granny's place, baking with Kak Wati (though I did most of the work of course lol) So glad for her company which made baking till the wee hours really fun! Managed to bake 3 types of kuih raya over the 2 nights that I spent there. Plus, we went shopping like crazy over at Expo and VivoCity on Friday (I finally got my heels from Pedro for Raya!) Yay ♥

It had been a really lovely weekend. I always enjoy my stay at Granny's place. That 3-room flat at Telok Blangah is truly where my heart is ♥ I grew up there, and nothing ever replaces those bittersweet memories I cherish during the years I lived there. Okay, I shall not get sentimental right now.

Kuih Raya!


So I spent one whole Sunday cleaning up my room!! OMG I wanted to give up halfway cos there was so much things to do 0_O I have no idea how I managed to survive in such a mess! Plus, there was so much junk in my room lol. Obviously, I am such a lazy ass when it comes to cleaning my room proper... but I did it today! And now my room is heavenly!! (no, seriously it is)

Look at the amount of clothes I have :O and that's only HALF of it all...
Evidently, I do not invest in flats.
I've only got a pair or two, for lazy-days-to-school purposes lol

It's always a joy spending time with the family. My dad and brothers spent their Sunday busy painting & cleaning the living room while my stepmom was baking in the kitchen! Ahhhh the whole house is clean now, new furniture's in, curtains are up, so on and so forth... we're so ready for Hari Raya yay ^^
