Bangkok Trip with Eera, Hafiz and lil sis Nana was so much fun!! Of course, I gotta blog about it. I just have to!

We arrived on Thurs night, touched down in BKK at about 9pm (cause our flight got delayed but everything was fine cos it didn't disrupt our plans) and went straight to The Ecotel. It was a lovely 3.5-star hotel which was good enough for the four of us. We stayed in the suite with double king-size beds. We had a nice spread of food provided every morning for breakfast too :]

On Friday, we started the day early at about 10am and headed off to Pratunam Market first. I LITERALLY WENT CRAZY over there! Everything was just too cheap I had to buy everything I fell in love with! I can still feel the excitement right now LOL
But seriously, I got really good deals; am totally not regretting any of my purchases at all. Nana was just as insane as me over at Pratunam Market. Both of us kept getting too excited haha it was real fun!

After which, our second stop was Platinum Mall, which had over 2000 retail outlets! Just imagine that. Of course, my money went flying away by the end of that day LOL
I am unstoppable when I shop, fyi. I enjoy the instant gratification upon every transaction I made haha but honestly, the shopping experience was fucking awesome! I have so many new clothes -tops, outerwear, shorts, skirts, pants- bags, and accessories to wear. Woohoo~

Our feet died after all that shopping of course, so we headed off to pamper ourselves on Friday night before having delicious seafood (but it was quite expensive) at a restaurant behind our hotel. Dropped all our shopping bags in our room before heading off for Thai Massage sessions at a nearby massage place. It was amazing. Even though I couldn't stop giggling at the start, as it was quite ticklish(!!), I finally controlled myself and enjoyed the Thai Massage. We even returned for another session on Monday evening before we left BKK

The next day, Saturday, we did more walking around the streets and patronized a couple of shopping malls. We had lunch at A&W over at the IT CITY! I totally loved the Fish Waffle burger. Omg it was so yummy... Man, A&W should come back to Singapore, like seriously.
Oh, then I had dessert at Baskin Robbins!! :D I was so happy (but totally regretting it now lol nah, not really)

In the evening, we went to pamper ourselves even more. Eera and Nana had their manicure and pedicure while I had a foot scrub session! Oh fyi, Hafiz had a pedicure session too. Totally gay but it was hilarious and he enjoyed himself (I think?) LOL
We then went back to our hotel room and got ready to have a taste of the nightlife in BKK. Went to Kaosan Rd which was near the Grand Palace. It reminded me of Clarke Quay/Boat Quay very much! But with much cheaper drinks -awesome. Got myself a Tequila Sunrise for 70Baht = S$3, whaddup?! Everyone got really tired by 1am and so we called it a night.

Sunday morning was spent at the Floating Market which was such an exciting experience!! I totally enjoyed sitting in the boat as it streamed along the river. The scenery was beautiful and it still amazes me how there are people living in such an area. It was an eye-opener, in some ways, for me. We got some stuff at the floating market before heading off to Chatuchak Market for more shopping. However, I was not as crazy over at Chatuchak for the weather was killing me! It was so fucking hot and thus I got cranky/annoyed. Got a nice 'I BKK' bag from there though.

Since it was our last night in BKK, we decided to try out the street food. Had the best tom yam ever, and the Phad Thai noodles was delicious too! Of course, we got our favourite banana chocolate pancake (for 3 nights straight, fyi) and kebab from an Iranian restaurant. Awesome dinner indeed.

Monday finally came (I won't lie, I felt a little homesick already by Sunday. There were times when I felt really annoyed/pissed off but I can't put a finger on why I felt that way. I just did. Some things/behaviors/incidents just ticked me off and spoiled my mood a couple of times, somehow. Shan't get too anal about it anymore) and we all had to pack to go home that evening.
Managed to visit Silpakorn University in the morning and had lunch at Platinum Mall before we went back in the evening. I was glad to go back home when it was time to leave BKK.

Nonetheless, that doesn't mean that I did not enjoy the trip. It was a real lovely experience, travelling with them loved ones. I can't wait to go on more holidays with more awesome company, and my other loved ones who weren't on this trip with me

PS: I will upload more pictures soon enough.
